Suya is a widely enjoyed West African delicacy. It’s famously prepared by Northerners in Nigeria with special spices formulated to create a distinct taste when grilled over charcoal. There is a more lengthy process of how the Northerners in Nigeria prepare their meats, from slicing them thinly and stretching them out in the sun marinated with the suya spices then finally making it to their Charcoal grills to finish off.
As we are based in the UK and not privy to constant Sun, we use the heat from our grills to emulate the process, however we promise you will get close enough the same taste as you would if you were back in Nigeria. We at Souldeliciouz have learnt and mastered how to make this specially crafted Suya spice containing ginger, garlic, alligator pepper, chilli, and nuts. We marinate the thinly sliced Beef steaks with the spice and then grilled to perfection. Beef Suya can be enjoyed alone with sliced onions and tomatoes, with any rice or noodle dish, as a main meal or snack. We recommend either Jollof Rice or Fried Rice.
After grilling, the Beef Suya is then quickly cooled down and frozen to lock in the taste and freshness. Then it is packaged in insulated temperature control thermo bag for 24 hour postage to your chosen address. There will be a temperature sticker inside your package that will tell you how many hours your food has gone above the 8 degree threshold and this should not exceed 4 hours. The sticker will turn red if this has been the case and you should not consume any food if this has been breached. You will need to call us as soon as you receive delivery to alert us of this issue. We will need photo evidence of this. Please make sure someone is available to receive your food order as we cannot be held responsible if third party couriers cannot make delivery.
